I should bring a brilliant insight or pithy comment, but “This is sickening” is all I’ve got. It applies to almost everything on this page.

This is the only way to stop the fascists. We need to be doing this every day, everywhere, over and over. Not only for Palestine but for a hundred other disasters, we need to be putting our bodies onto the gears and wheels and levers, by any means necessary to make the apparatus stop. If we’re doing this everywhere, every day, we can rise up from the grave they’re digging for us … but if we’re not making that holy ruckus, then everything’s over.

By ‘we’, point of order, I mean “people other than myself,” but anyone trying to shut things down has my sincere support, and I will boldly link to them until the internet goes down.

Of course it’s unconstitutional, but also of course the Constitution no longer matters. It’s finished. America is whatever the Republican Supreme Court says, unless overruled by Trump Almighty.

This makes my news page mostly because I suddenly wondered whether Chiquita is still a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Central Intelligence Agency. A search took me to this brief run-down of the company’s history, which barely mentions the CIA at all. That’s confirmation, of course — yes, the CIA is still in charge at Chiquita.
