Some folks are grossed out by public transit, but don’t be. Sure, your fellow passengers will sometimes be… interesting, but think of it as added entertainment value.
The Seattle area has a pretty good bus system (Metro Transit), light-rail that’s workable (Sound Transit), a dinky but quaint Monorail, plus ferries and a ‘water taxi‘ crisscrossing Puget Sound, and a couple of kinda silly, poorly laid-out streetcar lines. My goal is to ride and write about every route going everywhere…
