Unless I wimp out, I’m planning to check out Cannonball Arts today. It’s a new hipster museum downtown, from the folks running the current incarnation of the local arts festival, Bumbershoot.
I loved Bumbershoot the one year I went, circa 1977 or so, but my fond memory might be more about the dame who accompanied me than the arts and music. In the twenty-teens, Bumbershoot grew into a less-lovely corporate behemoth with high ticket prices and bad word-of-mouth, but the past few years it’s been a local non-profit again, and I’ve heard good things about the festival, so I’m optimistic about the museum.
Me being me, I shall of course be posting a review…

Did you watch Pluribus yet? First season is over, so unless you want to wait five years, you can watch a big chunk of it now. It sucked!

It sucked? You mean it sucked in a good way, like a blowjob? Are you coming back for the second season?
Me, haven’t seen it just because I’m frustrated by long-arc stories that expect me to wait a year between eps — I don’t even watch Doctor Who until the season’s over — but if it sucks bad & I’m not coming back for the next season then I’d be ready to watch it now.
