      Sounds worth the wait. When I lived in Kansas City in the 2000s, Pendergast was still talked about.
      
      I was out for the last 12 hours or so myself — power outage. This room got mighty cold without my space heater, and the cat has sat on my lap before, but it’s the first time she slept there.
