For anyone anywhere who’s not a billionaire, coming to America seems like an increasingly dangerous idea.
Here’s an anecdotal aside: Canada has only one major league baseball team, the Toronto Blue Jays, and every time they play the Seattle Mariners here in Seattle, thousands of Canadians drive across the border to see the game. There are so many Blue Jays fans in the stadium, it sounds like a Mariners road game, not a home game.
But that was then, this is now: Word I’m hearing is, the Mariners have sold literally dozens of tickets to Canadians for this summer’s Blue Jays games.

JD Pritzker, governor of Illinois, is probably a putz in many ways, but for opening his yap and saying something worth hearing, he earns a spot on my good guys list.
